Cards Against Humanity

When Jack White performed at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, I designed a poster-sized Cards Against Humanity card and wrote real Jack White themed cards in collaboration with Cards Against Humanity. This commemorative one-night-only poster pack was covered by news outlets worldwide.

When designing a gig poster I like to make a connection between the band and the place they're playing. Chicago is home to Cards Against Humanity, so a Jack White expansion pack seemed like a good idea!

My initial thought was to print 42 cards on a double-sided poster that fans could cut out to play. The image below is the sketch I shared with Jack White and Cards Against Humanity to pitch the idea.

Cards Against Humanity responded positively to the concept and offered to print actual game cards so that fans wouldn't have to cut them out of the poster. The poster was a giant double-sided Cards Against Humanity black card, and fans received a pack of seven Jack White-themed game cards with each purchase.

The seven cards could be added as an extension to your existing Cards Against Humanity game set, allowing for endless delightful combinations.
